Arsenal boss Unai Emery has given the green light for a move for CSKA Moscow attacker Aleksandr Golovin.
Golovin has already bagged a goal and two assists in the host nation's opening two victories.
Arsenal scouts have provided Emery with a report on Golovin.
And the Daily Star says the Spaniard was impressed enough to give the go-ahead for the club to complete a deal.
Golovin stood out against Arsenal in the Europa League, netting in a 4-1 defeat at the Emirates in April.
