Arsenal boss Emery delighted with his strikers for Cardiff win

Arsenal boss Unai Emery was pleased with their 3-2 win at Cardiff City.

Both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette struck in the five goal thriller.

Emery stated: "The reaction is very important. The reaction was very good. We were calm.

"The most important thing is to be calm and to continue working.

"We controlled the match for 70 per cent of the 90 minutes."

On his two strikers, Emery continued: "They are playing minutes each match and today they started.

"We are continuing to work on the combinations. Today I think the two players scored goals and helped us.

"We can continue to work to find the best performance with each player."

On matchwinner Lacazette, he added: "Very pleased.

"I spoke with him because I know him at Lyon. I know he has a big capacity to score in the box and when the team gives him good options.

"He has good data to score and today he showed us. It's good for his confidence."
