Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he's "fed up" having to respond to questions about his lack of transfer activity.

After the stalemate at Leicester City, the 66-year-old confirmed he was closing in on another signing.

"Yes we are close," he told BT Sport. "But I would say spending in itself is not a quality. Spending and buying the right players is a quality.

"I am a bit fed up to always respond to the same things. We look and analyse absolutely everything and we have to make the right decisions."
