Theo Walcott is ready to commit to a new contract at Arsenal.

The Sunday Mirror says Walcott has one year left on his contract and initial talks reached deadlock.

But negotiations have resumed since his return to training and the club are optimistic agreement can be reached to add three more years to his Arsenal career.
