Arsenal's board backs manager Arsene Wenger's development policy to the hilt, says managing director Keith Edelman.

He said: "There is a shortage of world-class football talent and there are a few teams chasing them.

"Even if you have money, you can't necessarily get them. The way forward is to develop young talent and, speaking to chief executives of clubs, more and more are thinking like that. We're fortunate to have a manager who excels at that."
