Arsenal and Tottenham are battling for Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Sebastian Rode. The Daily Star says German giants Bayern Munich and Arsenal are both eyeing the under-21 international, with Rode aware he is being scouted by some of Europe's top clubs.

And the talented youngster, who has 18 months left on his current contract, confirmed he will explore his career options at the end of the season.

"The interest is known to me. I'll keep my feet on the ground and not start dreaming," he said.

"Eintracht Frankfurt and I have agreed to postpone the talks so I can concentrate on my football."

Last summer, Spurs held talks with Frankfurt over the talented youngster, but were unable to complete a deal.
