Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski would like to hear from VfL Wolfsburg about a January move.
Podolski has made it clear he's frustrated over his current situation at Arsenal and is leaning towards quitting the Gunners during the winter transfer window.
The Germany attacker admits VfL chief Klaus Allofs made contact over the summer.
"Mr Allofs made enquiries for me (last summer)," revealed Podolski to BILD.
Wolfsburg currently sit in second place on the Bundesliga table and the signing of Podolski would give them a boost going into the second-half of the campaign.
