Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski is surprised Pep Guardiola agreed to join Bayern Munich.

Podolski faces his former club in the Champions League tomorrow night.

"I was surprised with Pep Guardiola coming to Bayern," he told The Sun.

"There was talk of Chelsea and Manchester City but it is the right decision for Guardiola as Bayern are a big club with a good philosophy."
