Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski says their crazy 7-3 win over Newcastle United was vital.
The German striker admits it was vital for the team to start stringing together positive results as they challenge for a top-four place during the second half of the campaign.
"We need this run as there are three or four teams at the top [to compete with]," he told Arsenal Player.
"We got the three points [against Newcastle] and for the people around the world watching on TV and those in the stadium it was a great game to watch with 10 goals.
"It was a crazy game. We were in front [three times], then Newcastle got it back, so I was happy to be on the pitch today.
"We must win our matches, and we have now won four in a row. It is important to keep fighting well, look forward to the next game and get the three points."
