Arsenal attacker Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says Danny Welbeck has nothing to prove to Manchester United.
Welbeck faces his old club today.
Oxlade-Chamberlain told talkSPORT: "I don't think he has got anything to prove. You've seen over the years how effective he can be on the pitch. When he was at United everyone here had massive respect for him.
"We knew that when we played United and Danny was playing that he would be a threat and something for us to look out for.
"He's been given the chance to play in the role he wants to play and thrives in upfront and he's been putting in great performances."
