Arsenal attacker Oxlade-Chamberlain defends England performance

Arsenal attacker Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has defended England's performance for their draw with the Republic of Ireland.

The Ox hit back after Gary Lineker claimed the Three Lions had gone 'back to the dark ages' in their 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland.

The Gunners winger said: "The key thing is we stick together. We have a belief and a confidence in our dressing room. The performance was good, we deserved more."
