The 20-year-old starred for Crewe this season, scoring 14 goals in his 40 league appearances for the club, helping them to avoid relegation.
"We have had a long season and spent most of the time at the bottom of the league or in the bottom four, so to get out and stay out at the end is everything," Aneke told the club's official website.
"We worked so hard as a team to get ourselves out of trouble and it was such a relief when we knew we were safe.
"I've really enjoyed my time at Crewe.
"Everyone knows that. I felt like one of their own players and I cannot thank everyone enough for all the support they gave me."
