Arsenal attacker Andrey Arshavin admits Tottenham legend Paul Gascoigne was his hero.
Arshavin was not quite 10 when Gascoigne scored the famous free-kick in Tottenham's FA Cup semi-final win over Arsenal at Wembley in 1991 and is set to start for Wenger's team in today's fifth-round tie against Burnley.
He said: "I liked Paul Gascoigne a lot. He was an extraordinary person both on and outside the pitch."
When reminded of Gascoigne's colourful past and affiliation to Spurs, Arshavin insisted: "I still liked him.
"He always remained his own self which in my opinion is of utmost importance in every man's life."
