Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is in the market for a new centre-half signing this summer.

TMW says the Gunners have made contact with Napoli about the availability of defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

The powerful stopper has been a long-term target for Chelsea, though they have failed with multiple offers over the past year.

Arsenal have now made an approach, but Napoli - for the moment - have shown an unwillingness to do business.

Wenger is also being linked with a £45m move for Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk this week.
