Spanish teenage starlet Sergi Samper is wanted by Arsenal.
The People says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is ready to raid Barcelona for the new Cesc Fabregas - teenage starlet Sergi Samper.
Wenger is looking to repeat his stunning swoop for Fabregas by offering the midfield prospect a four-year deal to tempt him away from the Nou Camp in January.
Samper, a tall and skilful kid, turns 16 in the New Year and could be recruited by the Gunners under the noses of the Catalan giants in a move that would cause a storm. The youngster starred as Barca won the Premier Cup at Manchester United this season and is also in Spain's under-16 side.
Arsenal plan to offer Samper a better deal than Barcelona and also give him a quicker route to first-team football. Those two incentives attracted Fabregas at the same age.
