Arsenal and Sead Kolasinac have left a trail of disappointment behind them after striking Bosman terms last week.
The Schalke fullback is expected to soon announce he's settled on a pre-contract with Arsenal after news of the agreement emerged in his native Bosnia on Friday.
The Guardian says the deal has left Everton frustrated after Kolasinac had met with club officials where terms had been discussed.
However, Kolasinac chose Arsenal after they stepped in with a far superior offer.
This is the second time in under a year Arsenal have secured a player after he appeared to be on his way to Everton following the £17m signing of the Spanish striker Lucas Pérez from Deportivo La Coruña last August.
And in Italy, it's being claimed AC Milan had handed Kolasinac a €1 million advance ahead of him signing in June. Yet, the fullback still chose to accept the Gunners offer.
