Arsenal are watching Getafe midfielder Abdelaziz Barrada.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been aware of Barrada since he was coming through at PSG and has had chief scout Steve Rowley make checks on him this season.

Liverpool are also interested in Barrada, 22, who is now emerging as one of best young midfielders playing in Spain.

Barrada is tied to Getafe until 2015 and his contract has a €20 million buyout clause.
