Arsenal have informed Real Sociedad that they plan to trigger a buy-back clause in Carlos Vela's contract.
The 25-year old Mexican striker has scored 30 La Liga goals in two seasons since joining la Real permanently from the Gunners following an initial loan spell in Spain.
Marca is of the belief that Arsenal are keen to get Vela back for 4million before deciding whether or not to keep him or sell him off to a high bidder.
Vela is sure to receive attention after last season's 16-goal effort but Sociedad are keen to keep him at the Anoeta.
