Arsenal ace Van Persie: I'm not Henry

Robin van Persie is eager to avoid comparisons with former Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry.

"I have been asked this question many times," the Dutchman told arsenal.com. "Personally I feel it puts pressure on yourself. For me that is too risky.

"Thierry played so many years for Arsenal and won so many things - big trophies. I understand the press will pick out two players but you can't really compare us.

"When we have achieved big things for Arsenal we did it together. Yes he was usually the one scoring the goals but it is not about the fact that he has left that I am saying to myself I have to fulfill all those things.

"Thierry is Thierry, I am Robin van Persie who plays for Arsenal in a team. I am not a tennis player who does it on their own, I am a football player in a team and we achieve things together."
