Arsenal ace Robin van Persie has backed Ibrahim Afellay's move to Barcelona. PSV Eindhoven announced the sale of Afellay while the midfielder was away on international duty with Holland this week.
Dutch teammate Van Persie said: "The change will do him good. He'll have a lot of fun there.
"Before, he had many teams wanting to sign him. He did the right thing in waiting and choosing the right team for him.
"He has the qualities to succeed at Barcelona. He's strong on both sides of the body and can pick a pass."
