Arsenal ace Mesut Ozil is chasing down an assists record held by Manchester United legend Eric Cantona.

For victory over West Brom, Ozil produced a sensational cross three minutes from time for Olivier Giroud to head home the winning goal.

And that, on his 100th Premier League appearance for Arsenal, took him to 36 assists in the competition.

That number means he is second on the all-time list of Premier League stars after 100 games, behind only Manchester United legend Eric Cantona, who managed 39.

He has six more than Arsenal hero Dennis Bergkamp and former Newcastle star Nolberto Solano.
