Alexis Sanchez has churned out an influential cameo appearance for Chile in their 2-0 victory over Cameroon at the Confederations Cup on Sunday.
The Arsenal attacker was withdrawn from the starting line-up after injuring his ankle in training last week.
Sanchez was introduced with just over half an hour remaining and would go on to set up the game's first goal.
After finding some space on the left wing, Sanchez crossed perfectly from just inside the box to the head of Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal, who duly nodded home.
Sanchez could have had a goal of his own in injury time but was too hesitant to pull the trigger after facing Cameroon keeper Joseph Ondoa one-on-one.
When the 27-year old finally got a shot off, it was blocked on the line by a defender. Fortunately, former Napoli forward Eduardo Vargas was there to smash home the rebound to secure the win for Chile.
