Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez inspired Chile to a wonderful victory over South American giants Brazil in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers.
South American champions Chile continued their fine run by claiming a 2-0 victory over rivals Brazil at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago on Thursday night.
Former QPR striker Eduardo Vargas opened the scoring in the 72nd minute of the game before Sanchez sealed the game for La Roja with a fine strike in the 90th minute. The result was Chile's just second-ever World Cup qualifying win over Brazil in Santiago.
Sanchez has now scored seven goals in his past four outings for both club and country.
