Arrests made after Arsenal cup tie at Sutton

Metropolitan Police have confirmed that two arrests were made after the pitch invasion at the end of Sutton United's FA Cup tie with Arsenal, reports the London Evening Standard.

A 27-year-old man from Morden was arrested for an alleged pitch incursion and has been bailed to appear at South London Magistrates' Court on March 6.

A 15-year-old man was also arrested for alleged breach of the peace and was taken home to prevent further breach of the peace. He was subsequently de-arrested.

Hundreds of supporters from both sides streamed onto the pitch at full-time after the match, which ended 2-0 to the Premier League side after goals from Lucas Perez and Theo Walcott.
