Arrests continue after Sunderland and West Ham fans clashed

Further arrests have been made in connection with disorder which broke out ahead the game between Sunderland and West Ham. Violence, which police think was pre-arranged, erupted in Sunderland city centre on 12 January.

Northumbria Police said it had made six further arrests - including a 15-year-old boy - bringing the total number to 14.

Police said trouble broke out before the match outside Revolution Bar, in Low Row.

A spokeswoman said 13 others were being sought in connection with the disorder.
