Wigan Athletic striker Arouna Kone struck his fourth goal of the season in victory at Reading.

The Ivorian has come back firing after making only one appearance at the African Nations Cup.

Kone said: "I didn't play as much as I wanted. If I had played every game I might have come back worn out.

"But I came back fresh with a hunger to play and I've displayed that in the past two games."
