Arouna Kone continues Everton comeback in Celtic draw

Arouna Kone enjoyed 45 minutes in Everton's 1-1 draw with Celtic in their U21 Premier League International Cup tie.

Striker Kone has missed over 12 months of first-team football following a serious knee injury, but has featured for David Unsworth's side during his rehabilitation.

And the Ivorian played the opening 45 minutes of an even contest on a cold evening at Goodison.

Substitute Courtney Duffus, fresh from his loan with Bury, ensured honours were shared with a late leveller.
