Arnold delighted after Central Coast Mariners deliver Christmas cheer

Graham Arnold was thrilled with how his Central Coast Mariners played in the 2-0 win over Adelaide United yesterday. The Mariners closed the gap on the second-placed Reds to just one point with a solid performance at Bluetongue Stadium which was very warmly welcomed by a proud Arnold.

"It was a good Christmas present for everyone. I thought the second half, we played much stronger and everyone played better," said Arnold.

"I think part of our strength is definitely our flanks. The belief in the dressing room was always good."

The Mariners will now prepare for the visit of Melbourne Victory on New Year's Eve - kick-off is at 6:00pm.
