Dundee United midfielder Stuart Armstrong believes a close mate will succeed him in winning the Scottish Football Writers' Association (SFWA) Young Player of the Year award.
22-year old midfielder Armstrong was voted in by the SFWA as the best young player in Scotland last season but he believes his Terrors teammate Andrew Robertson will clinch the title this time around.
"I won the Football Writers' award last season but I think Andy is a certainty this year," Armstrong told the Daily Record of the 20-year old full-back.
"He'd thoroughly deserve any awards at the end of the season due to his sheer consistency.
"He has shown a lot of quality so he'll most definitely be up there."
