Blackpool legend Jimmy Armfield says Leeds United boss Simon Grayson had a big influence in their shock Premiership promotion.
According to Armfield it was current the Leeds United manager who first sowed the seeds of success which will see the big teams have a day out alongside the Golden Mile.
"He'd been a player at the club and knew what it was all about. I could see a change in the whole attitude when he arrived as manager," Armfield told the Sunday Express.
"Ian has come in and continued that good work and added his own unique qualities.
"He's connected with the fans and given them the enthusiasm which showed itself at Wembley. That had to be one of the best atmospheres Wembley has known."
