The Argentine media are again questioning Barcelona star Lionel Messi's form with Diego Maradona's team. Messi was again flat for this week's friendly win over Germany.

La Nacion declared: "Messi is the one that is concerning the national team.

"The striker of Barcelona is not reaching the level that he has for the Catalan club."

Clarin demanded: "Where are you Messi?"

The newspaper continued: "Messi needs a team to support him. His talent is real and it takes nothing more than to watch a video of Barcelona. This young man in Spain plays like a character out of 'play station'."

Ole also said: "More than once Messi committed the mistake of returning to his own half, collecting the ball with his back to goal, then losing it. He is still not as important for the national team as he is for Barcelona."
