Diego Maradona has expressed interest in managing a team in China.

The Argentine legend, who was sacked by UAE outfit Al Wasl last month, recently arrived in Beijing to undertake an eight-day charity tour and told a China Daily press conference that he would like to take up coaching in the country.

"I would like to train in China. I would like to contribute to the development of Chinese youth football," he said.

Maradona was recently linked with an unnamed Chinese Super League club and these latest comments suggests he still may be in the running somewhere.
