Claudio Bieler is being touted as Sporting Kansas City's fourth Designated Player signing in the clubs history.
SKC head coach Peter Vermes recently told Extra Time Radio that a new DP would soon be revealed to add to offseason signings Benny Feilhaber, Ike Opara, Josh Gardner and Yoann Songo'o.
Reports suggest that 28-year old Argentine forward Bieler, currently with Ecuadorian club LDU Quito, could join fellow Latin Americans Claudio Lopez, Omar Bravo and Jeferson who are Kansas City's former DPs.
