Argentine FA apologises to Barcelona for Bauza blast

The Argentine Football Association has apologised to Barcelona over Edgardo Bauza's blast this week.

Bauza slammed Barça over Leo Messi's injury.

AFA representative Armando Perez took the step to contact Barça and make peace in a conversation with president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

“We have to have a good relationship with Barcelona," Perez said.

Barça spokesman Josep Vives confirmed the call: “The AFA has contacted Barça to express its apology for the comments made by the manager in relation to the injury of Leo Messi. [Barça and the AFA] will work so that Leo Messi recuperates as quickly as possible because, as Luis Enrique said, 'Messi is a global ambassador for football.'"
