Leeds boss Simon Grayson has confirmed he has taken free agent Argentine defender Walter Garcia on trial. The 25-year-old is searching for a new club after spending the back end of the MLS season with New York Red Bulls.

The stopper will make his Leeds bow in the behind-closed-doors match with Middlesbrough on Tuesday.

"Walter is a player we've been made aware of," Grayson told the club's official website. "He's been training with us and will play against Boro."
