New Argentina boss Diego Maradona plans to build his team around Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
Maradona has been critical of the way his predecessor, Alfio Basile, used Messi and declared: "He is a phenomenal player and has to be given the freedom to play without such responsibilities.
"He's 20 years old and is playing for Barcelona, I know how to get the best from him."
