Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has called on Les Bleus fans to forgive Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra.
Evra is still blamed in some quarters for France's meltdown at the Euros.
But after his rousing halftime speech against Belarus, opinion is beginning to change and Giroud says: "Pat loves the France team, I do not understand why they jumped on him like that. He wants to look forward. That's our problem in France, looking behind.
"At the time, Pat did this to wake us up, we were all slaughtered. I think we're looking for problems.
"If there was ever a time where you have to draw a line under the past, it should be now."
