Arena ready for big changes at LA Galaxy

Following LA Galaxy's 3-0 away loss to Houston Dynamo and elimination from this year's place off race, Head Coach and General Manager Bruce Arena felt his team were involved in a major learning lesson. Arena said after game: "There were segments in the first half where we were just physically manhandled It wasn't as much about the soccer as it was about running harder, competing better. ... They were more alert, more physical, more aggressive."

With regards to moving forward for next year Arena commented: "The goals really are to evaluate the team on and off the field, regardless of what the wins and losses are. I think the plans that we're formulating will be better."

LA Galaxy have one remaining home game against FC Dallas at the weekend.
