LA Galaxy captain Landon Donovan feels Bruce Arena was a worthy recipient of this season's MLS Coach of the Year award.
The former USA national team boss was named the best coach in Major League Soccer for the 2011 season after guiding the Galaxy to the best record in the league (second-best in league history) and the Cup Final and Donovan believes the prize was fully deserved.
"I think Bruce is fully deserving. For those of us who spent the entire year here, being with him every day, we realize even more than a casual observer just how valuable he's been to this team," he said.
"We're very lucky to have him. You could argue if we win MLS Cup it possibly could be his best coaching job ever."
