Ossie Ardiles has concerns for former club Tottenham.
The Spurs legend fears whoever misses out on top four finish - Tottenham or Manchester City - will struggle to keep their squad together.
Discussing the future of Carlos Tevez, Ardiles told the Manchester Evening News: "Carlos is one of the best players in the world with Messi, Ronaldo and others. Those players want to be playing in the very best competitions and the Champions League is an incredibly important competition.
"Whoever is not in the Champions League, if it's Spurs or City, is going to suffer quite a lot."
