Real Madrid fullback Alvaro Arbeloa was delighted with their 8-2 victory over Deportivo La Coruna.
Arbeloa felt the result answered their critics.
"We should be happy. You're seeing a Real Madrid that is improving and more in tune, which is what we wanted. To do well we have to be at our best. We're building momentum and an improvement can be seen. That's what the manager wants.
"Today we scored eight goals; it's a lot and you can't do something like that every day because it's too many, but the team's going in the right direction."
