Alvaro Arbeloa says Liverpool will enjoy knocking Everton out of the FA Cup in their replay at Goodison Park.

"I think it will be sweet if we beat them at Goodison Park in the replay," he told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"We played well here (at Anfield) and have been much better than them, so why can't we go there and win? We beat them 2-0 at Goodison in the league earlier in the season and I think we can do that again.

"We showed good character to come from a goal behind and I think that from our second-half performance we deserved to score more goals.

"We played really well. It was a much better performance than in the league match. We controlled it and they only had one chance in the whole game, but unfortunately they scored from it.

"We did everything we could to try and get the win but it just wasn't our day."

The Reds could face Aston Villa or Doncaster Rovers in round five - if they can overcome Everton - and Arbeloa is relishing the prospect of another home tie.

"It's a good draw," he said. "Villa will be favourites and if we can get past Everton it could be another big tie for us. It's a home draw and if we can do well in that game, then we would be only two games away from Wembley."
