Reports out of Italy today suggest that Alberto Aquilani will only stay with Roma if they secure Champions League qualification next season. Aquilani has been constantly linked with Juventus in recent months, with the Turin club said to be lining up a big money offer for the 24-year-old.
Roman newspaper Il Romanista claims that Rome born Aquilani will only remain with the giallorossi if they can secure a top four finish this season which would qualify them for the Champions League qualifiers next season.
Roma are currently 12 points adrift of league leaders Inter Milan and would need a major run of victories to pull themselves back into top four contention.
