Alberto Aquilani has had no doubts about making the move from Liverpool to Fiorentina.
The 28-year old Italian midfielder has made the permanent shift from the Reds to La Viola after arriving on Merseyside three years ago and says he is looking forward to beginning a new chapter back in his homeland.
However, Aquilani admits he was ready to stay with Liverpool but was sold after loan spells with Juventus and AC Milan, and injuries, interrupted his stay in England.
"I had no doubts about Fiorentina because they wanted me and the project here is very interesting," he said.
"Now the most important thing is that I will never return there and I want to concentrate on my new cycle.
"There's nothing wrong with my condition, I trained well with Liverpool and did the same as my teammates.
"However the club decided to sell me. I had a great experience in England and if I went back in time I'd do it all again."
