AC Milan have ended their pursuit of Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani.
The Serie A champs saw Aquilani as a replacement for new Juventus midfield signing Andrea Pirlo.
However, Aquilani's personal terms were deemed too rich for Milan.
With time running out, Aquilani is facing the prospect of staying with Liverpool until January.
