Alberto Aquilani has backed Juventus' push for AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo. Pirlo has been linked with a Bosman move to Juve this summer.

Aquilani, who hopes to sign permanently with Juve from Liverpool, said: "It would be fantastic to have Pirlo here.

"He's a top player, a great at international level. Playing alongside him would help me to grow even more."
