Anzhi Makhachkala are preparing a January bid for Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic.
The 31 year-old defender was linked with Barcelona and Juventus over the weekend and now Anzhi are showing their hand.
Russian sources say Anzhi management are willing to make an exception to their recent low-key transfer policy to bid for Vidic.
