Anzhi target Chelsea veteran Lampard, Liverpool skipper Gerrard
Anzhi Makhachkala are chasing England midfield pair Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard.
After signing Samuel Eto'o from Inter Milan and having Roberto Carlos in their line-up, Anzhi are now planning bids for Chelsea veteran Lampard, 33, and Liverpool captain Gerrard.
Rossiyskaya Gazeta says Anzhi owner Suleyman Kerimov is willing to offer both players £12 million-a-year to quit their respective Premier League clubs and move to Russia in January.
A trump card could be England coach Fabio Capello, who is also on Kerimov's shopping list.
