Anzhi star Willian is excited by interest from Liverpool. The Reds are weighing up a move, and even though a formal bid has yet to be lodged, the former Corinthians playmaker has admitted he is praying for some good news.
"There are conversations, and I am hoping in the next few days for an offer from a club like Liverpool," he admitted.
"If it is Liverpool, then they are a great club. The news came as a real shock, but I'm calm about it and hoping for the best, because I've been told they will help the players to go, if they get a good offer.
"The players have been told in six months' time the club will move back to Makhachkala [Anzhi currently play their home games in Moscow], they will bring in more Russian players and the foreign players can go, if they get the right offers.
"It's not true that we will be allowed to leave for nothing. But the owner has said if he gets an offer close to what he paid for the players, then they can go.
"So I am hoping there will be something from Liverpool, because England has a league that I've dreamed of playing in."
