Anzhi are preparing a bumper bid for Inter Milan fullback Douglas Maicon.
The Brazil international has been recommended to Anzhi by their player-coach Roberto Carlos.
Anzhi are willing to splash out €20 million for Maicon to bring him to Russia in January.
